A very special and unique benefit concert for the TLF Foundation will be coming to the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, NJ on May 28, 2025, at 7pm.

Alan Schorr is an accomplished musician and songwriter and a career Civil Rights attorney.  In his career as an attorney, Alan has been involved in more than 100 Appellate and Supreme Court cases and has won many large verdicts representing thousands of employees.  During the same time, Alan has been a productive musician and singer-songwriter, recording albums and writing and producing four stage musicals.  Despite a 50-year career in music and 32-year career in law, the two worlds have never met.  Until now. 

Alan’s newest composition, “One Voice”, is a collection of songs about his experiences in law, focusing on civil rights and social justice.  As with Alan’s previous albums, the songs defy any neat categories.  The musical styles range from rock, blues, jazz, and even country and hip-hop.  The concept of “One Voice” emerged from Barack Obama’s famous campaign speech about how just one voice can change a room, and then a town, and eventually the entire world.  The songs are about ordinary and extraordinary people whose voices have changed the world.  The composition encourages listeners to add their voice as Alan has now done.

Alan, who plays keyboard, guitar and sings lead vocals, will be joined by an accomplished 9-piece band with horn section and a very talented vocal ensemble. Also joining Alan will be a dozen special guests and appearances by world-famous ChildrenSong, one of New Jersey’s top children’s choirs.

The TLF (Thinking, Learning, Fun) Foundation supports many educational and musical programs.  All proceeds from the concert will go to the Foundation to support South Jersey Youth.
